I have been using my S2 Pro for 2 weeks and have driven around 40 km so far. The pickup is very good, and I am satisfied with the battery performance as well. I've taken 8 to 10 kms round trips and have only needed to charge it once in 3 days. Although the range is 40 km per charge, it doesn't seem to reach that distance, but I still think it's acceptable for a mid-range e-scooter.

The only issue I've encountered is riding on pedestrian pathways made of cement blocks; it doesn't feel very comfortable. Other than that, the customer care team has been very quick in responding. They even sent me a mobile holder when I requested a price match, which was very kind of them.

I’ll definitely update my review after a few more months of usage. Overall, I am happy with my first scooter so far.

Thank you for the smooth transaction, this escooter is a gift for my husband for our anniversary because I can see that he walks far going to his work in an industrial area, we are new here in Canada hence we dont have a car yet. However please check because apart from the damaged box when it arrived, the power button has a big scratch on it when we opened it.

Over all it seems good, however I am in a cold climate and there is snow everywhere so not using it much, Wish it had a better water protection rating and the owners manual gave more details on all the indicators on the electronic display...same for the regenerating braking system, is there a light on the display indicating something. It seems it is but no explanation in the manual or display. So I have giving it a 4star review, but do like this scooter for its price point and love the bling...

Very easy to ride and responsive scooter. It’s very fast 31kmph. Battery life is very good. Super easy to load it in the trunk. I wish it had soft suspension in the front. Very harsh/stiff ride on the sidewalk.

It doesn't have the range it says it does. Maybe 16-18 miles. Speed does what it says it does. App is helpful. The whole thing is built pretty solid. Make sure the handlebar latch is fully in place!!! I've had it some undone on me before, that sucked but its on me. What really gets me though is that I literally left this thing strapped to my front stoop through a Boston winter and it just turned on and drove like nothing happened. Even maintained the charge I left it with. What a champion.

Great for commuting! I have a seven mile commute and this is a wonderful way to get there! I have gotten to work on my bike but it’s a sweaty endeavor! This Gives me an eco friendly way to get to work that is fun and refreshing! I love that I don’t have to worry about flat tires too! Great pick up and it takes me about 30 minutes to get to work only using 35% of my battery life. On the way home, I only use 25% of the battery life since it is a gradual down hill ride all the way there.

So before I get into the scooter let me say that Hiboy the seller is awesome. The team at Hiboy care about your satisfaction.
Now the Hiboy S2 is a nice scooter. I own another scooter that is awesome in its class. But it also fueled me wanting more. I bought the first one to see if Id like scooting. I do so I set my sights on something that didnt look like a childs toy. This scooter is mature in its looks. Ive added reflective decals and a rubber molding around the deck. Its a steel frame although lite considering the material. Controls are simple but if youre in the states you might want to get a free converter calculator cause the scooter speedometer is in kilometers not mph. The scooter reaches its claimed top speed on flat land. Range test got me a solid 12 miles in comfort mode. This test had 3- 20% grades the rest was flat paved bike paths. Im 6 feet 175lb. At the end of that test I had 26% left on my battery. My daily commute is 2 miles round trip. Braking is smooth and effective. Remember battery life depends on how you use it. It no different than a gas engine in that weight ,speed ,and terrain play a big factor in fuel economy. The app allows you to set your speed limits and the cruise control keeps it smooth. The only issue I had which I fixed temporarily with a piece of duck tape, is the kickstand. It has some sharp edges that will cut you if your ankle gets to close while kicking. You can see what I mean in the pic. I will make a cushion to cover it soon. With that its a awesome head turning scooter. I will revise this review when more variables arrive. Till then buy this scooter you wont be disappointed.

This scooter is great! Easy to use, comfortable ride, the light is very bright, a bit heavy for girl but I highly recommend it!

We’ve only had our two scooters a little over a month, but we love them! My teenagers love to use them to drive around town. Our college age son, who is at school about 15-20 minutes away (driving time) uses his to get around campus, but is also able to ride home and back to school on the local bike trail. The battery holds up to get him there and back with plenty of battery left (about 1 hour round-trip). We are now considering getting a couple more since there are 6 of us. They are great fun, and the battery holds up great on regular mode. Sport mode depletes battery faster, but regular mode works great. I would definitely recommend. My kids have the app and can lock it with their phones, and it works well. I love the lights for added visibility, especially for riding on the campus roads at my son’s school.
My youngest and I used it to ride up and over a bridge recently! It was so much fun!

Really great entry level scooter that goes up to 19 mph and the solid tires are great for worry and flat free maintenance. I rode it to work 1.5 miles away and it’s a fun ride!

It is super easy to use, very comfortable when it comes to driving and actually very easy to understand. The app is simple and synchronizes very well. The battery lasts long enough for a daily ride and charges a little faster than I thought. The rear and front lights and under the scooter illuminate very well for rides at night. Definitely a transport with a fair price and super useful for Vancouver and its bike lanes.

This is my first e-scooter. I am mainly a folding bike rider, and my background with two wheeled, man-powered vehicles is mostly human powered bikes.
My overall view of this e-scooter is that it feels sporty, and doesn't seem to sacrifice much while maintaining an overall compact package.

Ride Quality
This thing flies. The acceleration on this e-scooter is quite impressive coming from human powered bikes, especially from a standing start.

It has a top speed of 30km/h (19mph), and admittedly, this wouldn't feel fast when on a bike, but it feels very fast on this e-scooter. Bikes have bigger wheels, a longer wheel base, higher center of gravity, and lower rider position, where as e-scooters have smaller wheels, a short wheel base, lower center of gravity, and higher rider position.

The tires on this e-scooter are the solid air pocket type. Their small diameter and hard polyurethane material makes for a very bumpy ride, where your legs will do most of the shock absorbing.
This e-scooter felt fun going in a straight line over smooth pavement, but I slowed down to a crawl going over some compacted snow, and turning into corners.

Ride Controls
Both brakes on this e-scooter are very strong, and sensitive. I was surprised at how fast it would come to a stop while using regenerative braking. Likewise, the disc brake on this e-scooter would also kick in strong and fast.

The bell and disc brake lever position feels good.

The assembly is simple, only need to install four screws, and the attached assembly tool.
Great motivation. It is equipped with a powerful 350W motor and 8.5-inch solid tires for a variety of terrains. Top speed is 19 MPH (30 KPH) and range is 17 miles (27 KM).
The scooter is also equipped with a dual brake system to ensure your safety while riding. Three bright lights provide visibility when riding at night.

It should be noted that electric vehicles can only be started when they reach a certain speed. When it's stationary, the spin forward button will have no effect.

This is the beat scooter I ever bought. Its really easy to use and has hand breaks on both sides. It is easy to charge and has such a smooth ride. Would highly recommend for the price. It also has a headlight and side lights so you can drive at night. I love it!

My thoughts on this electric scooter are great I'm extremely satisfied with it , it gets me from A to B with still a full battery charge on eco mode I can't say that for the other modes cuz I haven't used them yet but my friends have so I'd have to say that this electric scooter is the best in my opinion and would recommend it to anyone else who may want to get it I would also recommend that hiboy customers use PayPal to purchase this product and any other products from hiboy I would also like to recommend not to download the hiboy app as it is completely dog water and doesn't work for shit after reading everyones else's reviews and for those of you who want to download the hiboy app for the extra features just letting you know that I warned you.

Hi following previous review, the battery takes approx 6
hours to recharge from one red bar. Is that normal? Time wise, How long does the full battery last for travelling at 20-35 km for most of the travel time? Thanks Viv

Voilà ça fais 3 semaines que nous avons nos deux trottinettes et ont à parcourue pas mal de kilomètres. Piste cyclable, route et sentiers. Elle sont parfaite.

- Solide je peux vous en assurer 😉 je suis retomber adolescent de 50ans à 16 ans hahaha je lui en ai demandé a cette petite bête là dans les sentiers mais elle m'a plus que surpris mêmesi j'ai pas des pneus off-road. Très bonne accélération, très bonne autonomie même en mode sport. Je dirais qu'en mode sport on fait régulièrement environ 45 kilomètres sur une pleine charge et il nous reste encore 15%. En mode éco on devrait faire environ 70 kilomètres mais pas testé encore. L'indicateur de batterie par contre manque de précision car quand il te reste exemple 25%, tu éteint et tu rallume et pouff il te reste 65% bizarre.

-Côté confort c'est le top. Il manque juste un banc pour se reposer pendant des longues balade. Il ne sont pas encore disponibles au Canada ☹️La suspension avant et arrière fait vraiment bien le travail. Les pneus 11 pouces gonflables sont vraiment bien et silencieux. Je maintient 32psi.

-Top speed 35 km/hrs atteint sans problème en mode sport et j'ai un poids de 178lbs. Pour monter des pentes, aucun problème avec ça. Le moteur de 500/650watt fais la job. 20% sans problème. Très stable et très maniable.

- Le seul problème c'est l'application mobile. Elle fonctionne bien mais je trouve qu'elle est trop basic. L'application de la S2-Pro est mieux. Manque d'option de configuration comme sur la S2-Pro. Comme un beau cadran de vitesse 😉 Surtout que cette trottinette à beaucoup de potentiel. Pour ce qui est de l'éclairage de nuit c'est parfait. Il reste à voir la fiabilité dans le temps. Mais pour l'instant je recommande sans hésiter. 🤘

Fast and built well.

Bought for pretty cheap and has a great range for the price. I like the different modes and it is good at accelerating. The ride can be very smooth and I really recommend it.

Just tried it today, it is very quiet and the range is good even if there are a lot of hills (for reference I live in Quebec city), but the one thing I'm disappointed is that it came with one hell of a scratch on the back and the valve steam extension is missing.

Update : the customer service is very good they've send me some spare parts.

The Hiboy S2 MAX is dope AF. Primarily purchased for my downtown Boston commuting, I find myself making excuses to take joyrides.
This scooter is quick. Top speed on flat surface roads is consistently 19mph, but I've hit 25mph downhill. Charges a little quicker than advertised imo.

I bought this scooter to go to work and run errands during the warmer months here in Quebec and I am happy with my purchase. Worth the buy with the discount. The only negative is that riding in the city, you get less than half the miles on a charge that what is advertised. I weigh 200 pounds and get a maximum of 20 miles on a full charge.

Purchased 2 P6 bikes. They were out of stock at the time. Waited about 2 weeks. Bikes showed up on the door step. Packed very well!! Takes as long to unpack as it does to assemble. All tools supplied to assemble. Assembly is easy. Charged up over night. Went for a ride the next day. Seat is comfortable for my old butt! Had a fantastic time. Only used the second level of assist. Can’t imagine how fast it goes on the highest level. Mechanical breaks squeak but I read about that before purchase. No big deal. Bike is fantastic. Very well made. The price of these bikes is absolutely amazing. Love it!!

Tout les critiques YouTube parlaient d’un moteur bafang, se qui m’avais convaincu d’avoir fais une aubaine. Je reçois mon vélo et m’aperçois que c’est pas un moteur bafang mais un xiongda dont la valeur est 3x moindre. J’me sens un peu floué, même si j’apprécie le vélo.

I will start by saying this is my first ebike and I will be using this for mainly hunting. With that being said, the price point is spot on - not too expensive to get into yet not so cheap as to question the quality. At first I was a little miffed, they advertised a Bafang motor and 9 speed. It arrived with a Xiongda motor and 7 speed. After consulting with Hiboy they apologized for the change but assured the 750w was superior to the Bafang. They also gave me the prime day pricing and refunded me an additional $250CAD. After my first ride I had cracked the sprocket cover. A short email chain explained that they had changed that too. 3 weeks later, the beefier sprocket cover arrived in the mail.

All in all I bought the bike for $1150CAD. I upgraded the brake pads (everyone's complaint and suggestion is to switch to hydraulic. New pads work just fine in the interim.) I upgraded the crankset and that's about it. With upgraded parts, saddle bags and rack I am in for $1300.

Highly recommend this bike for anyone looking for something to get to their stand with quietly and without the smell of exhaust. I don't know what the range is in the city but it lasts for the day long adventures I have done in the woods with it.

Customer service is top notch and although they have replaced some of the higher end parts, I think the price reflects that. If you're somewhat mechanically inclined the "bones" of this bike are solid.

8/10 recommend. 10/10 for the price.

First-time e-bike owner and I'm NOT disappointed! A LOT of bike for the price!! Lots of power, and the fat tires hug the road and the trails! 100% recommend the P6 to anyone who's looking for a great bike at great price!

I was very excited to get my hands on the P6 bike after placing the order. Once it arrived, I eagerly began assembling it, only to realize that the front tire needed air. I ordered a pump from Hiboy and inflated the tire to 38 psi, as the pump wouldn't allow for more. My initial rides were enjoyable, but after just a couple of days on the road, I got a flat tire.

I was surprised, as I never expected a flat on a 26-inch mountain bike. I decided to return the bike and contacted customer service with images and a video. They suggested that friction might have caused the inner tube to burst. This whole experience was frustrating, especially since I had to dismantle the bike and pack it up for return.

My experience with Hiboy has been disappointing. All parts of the bike are manufactured in China, which might explain the quality issues. I wouldn't recommend purchasing this bike unless you're fortunate enough to avoid a flat tire. Additionally, dealing with customer service is challenging, as they only communicate via email and typically respond past midnight, resulting in slow resolution times.

Very happy with the P6 so far. Like other’s says the brakes are the weak point. Will try to change the pads first. Super customer service

As the title says this bike is great but great starter level, I will still continue to use it till its time to change…just as everything it has it’s pros and cons but still a happy costumer, great service, the bike so fun to ride and totally happy about my purchase. This bike goes to 45km/h with the throttle, up to 55km/h with the pedal assist only, the suspension are very good as well as the front and back brakes once you adjust them. I would consider buying this bike if you want a quality bike for a low price, this is the best so far on the market in my opinion. The customer service was always there during the process of shipment, they offered me for free a phone holder and reassured me a couple of times. If anything break on the bike, they will be sending parts completely free, this is why I trust so much hiboy. When I received the bike, I went mountain biking and free riding in mud, rocks, jumps, etc. The bike is not designed for free ride, but it is VERY impressive how tough this bike is! I had no issues getting through mud, the suspension was great for rocks and jumps, the pedal assist and the different levels makes it very easy to free ride in any conditions. So far so good, I recommend purchasing the Hiboy P6, great motor and great battery, I am more satisfied than expected with this product, so if it is on sale right now, don’t even take the time to look at other products on the market like I did, it is far better than anything else you could get.

I bought this electric bike as a birthday gift for my husband. It works perfect and he likes it very much. The bike was heavier and bigger than I expected, but it was easy to assemble and move. I use around 15 min to assemble by myself. You can choose a work-through model to easily move it to your backyard.
The battery is removable. You can leave your bike outside and charge the battery indoors.
Fat tires give you a smoother and safer ride, even after snowing. It also works perfect at the beach. You can ride it to enjoy the sunshine and breeze at the beach.
Three battery usage modes, you can choose a full battery, a assistant model (such as a hybrid vehicle), when the battery is exhausted or you want to use it for fitness, it can be used as a normal bicycle.
Husband's new toy and he absolutely loves it. He also recommends to his friends without hesitation.

Great quantity, really like how it looks and happy that it didn��t differ from the pictures. Bought it for quick travel to and back from work. Absolutely made my life much easier, was quite amazed by how it can last without charge.

For an inexpensive smaller ebike it is OK…if purchased on sale. It does its job but is underpowered going uphill.

We just finished a 40 km excursion on the Trans Canada Trail in Nova Scotia. This was our first real test of the bikes. The trail was a combination of flat and hilly sections. Both bikes worked great!! They are easy to ride and the assist feature is amazing, especally on hilly sections. We didn't use half the battery capacity so 80km range is possible. Time will tell. Overall we are very happy with these bikes.

So far its been pretty good, enjoyable to ride.

Ive experienced fat tire bikes at ski resorts but without electric motors and decided a fat-tire is what I wanted. The P6 HiBoy had really good reviews and the price point was excellent! Assembly was easy and Im impressed with the bike speed (26 mph) and range without peddling. I added some fishing pole holders from Amazon and this bike is perfect for making my way to fishing lakes. It does take a bit of work to get on the bike with the fishing poles in place but good for stretching exercise. I highly recommend the bike and Im anxious to try it out on a variety of unpaved trails in the Ocala area.

Myself and my wife both use this P7 and love it! We put 80km on it so far and the bike seems to be solid and well built. Shipping was fast and installation was simple.

I’m very happy with the P7. It’s a pretty good commuter bike and it has good power for the money. The bike does get the range that is advertised and the bike has a solid feel. The weakest part of the bike is the front fork, which is very stiff and doesn’t work very well. But it’s hard to complain due to the price and the bike as a whole feels more expensive than it is.

Very good bike very fast love the range been getting me places helping me bring groceries home want 42kms out of town for a swim for few hrs made it back home in one battery. Just hoping Canadian storage will stock up on the parts not just the U.S

After charging the battery fully, I took a few rides around my city. The route was entirely flat without hills and I was able to reach 25 miles of range before the battery indicator reached zero. I was pedaling some, but the bike was doing most of the work. I was riding at full speed over 90% of the time. I am 150 lbs. and this range is about what I expected from what others had reported. Also, at full battery the bike reports 25MPH under its own power. A radar meter indicated this as 2 or 3 MPH too high, but I am not sure I would want to go much faster in town. I verified with a GPS Diagnostic that the speedometer reads about 2 mph high around 25 MPH, so top speed appears to be ~23 MPH.

Due to the relatively high speed, this is definitely a bike for adults rather than kids in my opinion.

Overall I am happy about the handling and the way the bike adds power both when pedaling and when using the throttle. After getting used to this, control of the bike quickly became intuitive.
